Rent the Equipment – or Let Us Build the Camp
You can rent as much or as little equipment as you need.
If you already know where you are going and are comfortable carrying, transporting and setting up everything yourself, you are welcome to simply rent the equipment from us and head out on your own adventure. But if you would rather spend your time enjoying the outdoors instead of dealing with the logistics, we are happy to take care of that part for you.
We can transport the tent and equipment to a carefully chosen campsite, set up the Tentipi, install the stove, bring firewood and prepare the sleeping equipment before you arrive. And if you would like to learn how to do it yourself, we are also happy to show you how we set up a camp and share some of the practical outdoor knowledge that comes with it.
We use places that we know well – locations that are suitable for camping, where we know the surroundings and where we know that staying overnight works well. That means you don’t have to search for a campsite, wonder whether the ground is suitable for a large tent or transport bulky equipment yourself.
You simply arrive at your camp.
And when your stay is over, we can come back, dismantle everything and take the equipment home again.

The Vindel River offers everything from very calm water to considerably more demanding sections.
Some stretches are almost like paddling across a quiet lake and can be wonderful places for beginners, families with children or anyone who simply wants a relaxed day on the water.
Other sections require more paddling experience.
There are also parts of the river that are simply not suitable for canoes or kayaks. Some sections require proper rafting boats and should not be attempted in ordinary paddling craft.
That does not mean you have to avoid the river altogether.
We are happy to plan the route together with you so that each day matches your experience, your group and the kind of adventure you are looking for.
For example, we can meet you in the morning, load the canoes or kayaks onto the vehicle and transport you and your equipment around a more demanding section of the river. Once the river becomes calmer again, we put you back on the water and you continue your journey.
This flexibility means that a journey along the Vindel River can be created for families with children and complete beginners just as well as for highly experienced paddlers.
The route, daily distances, type of craft and level of support can all be adapted to the people actually making the journey.
-
You can hire a guide for one day, for selected sections of your journey or for the entire route.
Your own experience becomes particularly important on the more challenging parts of the river, while on the calmest sections you may be perfectly happy exploring independently.
We can help you decide where you can comfortably paddle on your own, where having a guide would add confidence, safety or local knowledge, and where it makes more sense to transport the boats around a section altogether.
-
On a multi-day journey, you don’t necessarily have to paddle the same type of craft every day.
Depending on the route and what you would like to experience, we can arrange for you to switch between a canoe, sea kayak and fishing kayak from one day to the next.
This gives you the freedom to choose the craft that best suits each part of the journey – or simply try different ways of travelling through the landscape.

If you break it, you buy it.
Outdoor equipment is made to be used, and normal wear and tear is part of outdoor life.
